Let’s share top tips about actions we can take to make our premises safe for opening when lockdown ends and we are allowed to open to the public. It’s likely we will have some form of Social Distancing to consider.
Here are a few considerations I have thought of:
– Waiter/Waitress service – though we may need to consider how we protect the waiter but it will stop people congregating at the bar areas.
– Disposable menus – stops the passing of the virus through touch
– Hand sanitizer – available on entry and at tables. However, there’s a serious concern voiced by some of theft this could be very expensive in the long run and could also be a cause of cross-contamination in itself!
– Screens – isolating tables into booth style areas would help cut the spread of the virus and also help jeep social distancing between groups. You may want to consider the cost implications against the extra revenue.
